Lindsay Malcolm, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist who received her doctorate in psychology from John F Kennedy University in 2003. She attended Bible Study Fellowship for ten years and Community Bible Study for a further three. For fifteen years Lindsay volunteered through chapel services at Camp Parks Federal Correctional Facility where she also received a certificate in pastoral education. Lindsay pursued this passion for working with prison inmates at Valley State Prison for Women, in Chowchilla. More recently, she worked at a community mental health clinic where she helped children, adults and families in resolving emotional issues. Lindsay has also worked in a school-based health center at an Oakland high school helping teens with relational and academic problems. Lindsay joined Trinity in September 2009 and enjoys working with adolescents, adults and couples.

Professional Experience:

Takyi Dwumfuoh served first as a trainee and then as an intern at Trinity Counseling Center from 2011.   He had been a pastor and received his Masters of Science in Counseling with Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, East Bay. Takyi has a passion for working with couples and is a seasoned facilitator of premarital and marital counseling. He is an avid advocate for adolescent boys and enjoys working with men and women in individual therapy too.  

Having passed his licensing exam in 2017, Takyi accepted a position with another organization closer to his home in the North Bay.  We at Trinity Counseling Center are sad to lose him, but are also excited for the work he can do in the North Bay as a licensed professional.  He is also in private practice at Live-Enrich Psychotherapy Services in Fairfield and can be reached at (510) 206-5527, email [email protected]  Blessings Takyi, and thank you for your service.

Dreama Cole is a Registered Nurse who has worked with latency-age children and adolescents for over 13 years. She has worked with these populations in various facilities, dealing with drug addiction, mental health recovery, and eating disorders. Her passion is working with adolescents and families; she also enjoys working with adults and couples.  She joined Trinity Counseling Center in 2011.

Professional Experience:

Valerie received her M.A. in Psychology from California Southern University. She is very active in her church, leading worship, working with the children, and visiting individuals in convalescent hospitals, nursing homes and Alzheimer’s facilities. She prays that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit she can help those that come to Trinity to obtain healing, peace, and transformation in the love of Christ. Her passion is working with children and teens, but she also enjoys working with adults, couples and families. Prayerfully, this opportunity will be one of growth and blessings!  She has been at Trinity Counseling Center since 2013.

Professional Experience:Shaylah Rigmaiden is working toward completing her PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in cognition and instruction. She has worked with individuals, Couples, family and children at Trinity Counseling Center since February 2016. She has certification in mediation and is a facilitator for Prepare and Enrich marital program.

Peter M. Ngure, M.S.,

Registration:Psychologist Trainee
Professional Experience:Peter Ngure is a student in Capella University’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral program. He is currently doing his practicum under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Malcolm. He has previous experience working as a teacher in Kenya and with the criminal justice system. Peter is interested in working with diverse populations. Some of his areas of clinical training/interest include psychological testing and measurement and working with children, adolescents, and families of minority backgrounds and cultures who may be experiencing psychological distress such as, depression, anxiety, and trauma. When not at work, Peter leads and ministers at a home fellowship.
