Lindsay Malcolm, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist who received her doctorate in psychology from John F Kennedy University in 2003. She attended Bible Study Fellowship for ten years and Community Bible Study for a further three. For fifteen years Lindsay volunteered through chapel services at Camp Parks Federal Correctional Facility where she also received a certificate in pastoral education. Lindsay pursued this passion for working with prison inmates at Valley State Prison for Women, in Chowchilla. More recently, she worked at a community mental health clinic where she helped children, adults and families in resolving emotional issues. Lindsay has also worked in a school-based health center at an Oakland high school helping teens with relational and academic problems. Lindsay joined Trinity in September 2009 and enjoys working with adolescents, adults and couples.

Professional Experience:
Megan Hearne is an LMFT and clinical supervisor at Trinity Counseling Center. She earned her BA from Bethany College in Scotts Valley and her MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Megan takes special interest in helping clients understand the impact that trauma has had on their lives, heal the pain that comes from those experiences, and learn to walk in the world as an integrated and whole being. Megan's practice is informed by Attachment Theory and uses strategies from CBT, Narrative, and Strengths-Based Therapies. She has a deep respect and gratitude for those who seek counseling. Megan is a foster-adoptive parent, an avid runner and usually has a cold brew coffee in hand.

Professional Experience:
Valerie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her MA in Psychology from California Southern University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has experience working with children, teens, women, couples and families in her time at Trinity, she has facilitated groups, and she has also received specialized training and experience working at an inpatient eating disorder facility, one for women and another for adolescents.

She is very active in her church, leading worship, working with the children, and visiting individuals in convalescent hospitals, nursing homes and Alzheimer’s facilities. She prays that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the tools gained through her education, she can help those that come to Trinity to obtain healing, peace, and transformation in the love of Christ. Her passion is working with children, teens, women and families addressing depression, anxiety, life adjustments, grief, Acute and Post Traumatic Stress, eating disorders, stress management, self-esteem/self-worth issues, relationship dynamics, and spiritual growth or concerns. Prayerfully, this opportunity will be one of growth and blessings! She has been a part of the team at Trinity Counseling Center since 2013.

Venus began her career in Case Management working with youth, families, and homicide victims. For the next few years, she worked with pregnant and parenting teenagers assisting them with education, parenting competence, and self-care by facilitating a support group. She has also worked with incarcerated women helping them develop literacy, education, career development, and parenting skills. She is an advocate for abused women and children and is certified as a domestic violence counselor. Venus enjoys helping couples enhance their relationships. She supports women who have been survivors of Human Trafficking. Her goal is to become a trauma specialist helping all humans become the best version of themselves.

Lauren received her MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and is pursuing her Marriage and Family Therapist license. Lauren is passionate about interweaving faith and psychology together. Her interests include treating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, anger management, relationship issues, stress management, life transitions, peer relationships, and self-esteem issues.  Lauren enjoys hiking, being in nature, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dreama Cole is an experienced Registered Nurse. She has worked in Behavioral Health for over twenty years with varying populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and more recently, those with co-occurring diagnoses.

As an intern, she has developed a special interest in Spiritual-Integrated Care and Trauma-Informed Care. In 2020, she continued her pursuit embarking on a journey to attain a Doctorate of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a cognate in Traumatology.  
Outside of nursing and counseling, missionary work has become an indelible marking in her life. Her hope is to continue to work in the field of mental health serving the community (local and abroad) by helping individuals launch their pathways to healing.
She joined Trinity Counseling Center in 2011.

Allyson joined Trinity Counseling Center in the beginning of 2022. She has enjoyed working in various school settings, providing counseling services in grades K-12. Allyson looks forward to working with different age groups, families and couples.

Cynthia joined Trinity in 2021 while doing her internship for Liberty University. Through Trinity she has gained experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples. She incorporates strength based and client centered approaches for her clients. Cynthia also has experience as a lay counselor for a local community church working under a licensed MFT. Cynthia received her MA in Clinical Mental Health from Liberty University and is pursuing her Professional Clinical Counseling license. Christ is a strong part of her character, and she seeks wisdom through prayer.

Jessica’s previous work experience includes years of experience within the medical field. Once the pandemic occurred, she found a calling to shift towards the psychological and behavioral aspect of human health.

Jessica loves working, serving, and giving back to the local community and finds joy in volunteering her time with local youth and outreach programs. When she is not volunteering she is busy being a sports mom, attending soccer games, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and three children.
